National Event Winner * All Numbers Match

I would like to start off by saying this is a real "H" code Dart Sport & the last year of the 340 engine * It's all numbers & codes matching * Documented with the original fender tag & build sheet * Low production - just over a 11,000 Dart Sport 340 built & less then half were 4-speed equiped * Sold new at Grand Spaulding Dodge in Chicago ILL * Highly optioned * Only 8,300 miles since done.

In 2007-2008 with the help & guidance from Norm Kraus I converted the Dart into a "Mr Norm's Tribute" I finished the Dart the day before the 2008 All Chrysler Nationals in Carlisle PA * At the nationals Mr.Norm personally inspected the Dart for accuracy & signed the dash with the words "DONE  RIGHT" (photo documented) On the second day of the nationals I was honored with the Mr.Norm's "Top A Body" award * On the last day of the event I was also award 3rd place overall in class giving the Dart it's 2nd National Event win * In the 4 years of owning the Dart I have won no less then 50 awards & trophies * Most resently was a Top 10 finish in class at the Dover Drag Strip Reunion in Danbury CT.

Now a little bit more about the Dart itself * The original numbers matching 340 was treated to a professional rebuild with a .030 over-bore & 10.5.1 flat top pistons ( 93 octane pump gas friendly) Balanced reciprocating assembly * Balanced crank * The original heads were treat to larger "J" head valves & 3 angle valve job * The cam was enlarged to a Mopar Performance 484 / 484 hydraulic * It has 1970 date coded HP exhaust manifolds ( have originals) * New Mopar Performance "Six Pack" setup including the correct air-cleaner assembly (have original intake) * The original A833
4 speed has been completely gone through & shifts like butter * New Centerforce presure plate with a full face Ram clutch disc * Original date coded 3.21 Sure-grip rear end * Believe it or not - at 60 mph the Dart will click off 15 mpg * The Dart has had only one repaint of it's original TX9 Tuxcedo Black color in 1999-2000 * As you can clearly see from the pictures the body is laser straight & the paint still shows a solid 9 out of 10 * The Parchment bucket seat - console delete interior is all original & also shows a solid 9 out of 10 * I could go on & on for hours - besides paper documentation - I have photo documentation of every major achievement * Now it's time to move on & experience something different.

I'm not really looking to sell outright - I'm more interested in an interesting trade * I love odd ball stuff - whether it be a classic car or maybe even a classic truck * If you feel the same way - please show me what you have * Respond to MrMonteSS@aol.com with full discription & pictures *

More pictures are available upon request * Personal & 3rd party inspections are also more then welcome * You can also give me a call 845-473-9300 days 845-546-5523 nights & weekends before 9pm EST.
